Milanote 1 Month Trial and Review
Some online companies are just that… online and while we work with clients all over the country, IsleCreative predominantly works with clients in our local region, we like the in person relationships this allows us to build.
Over the years we’ve established methods of presenting and providing clients with ideas and information on laptops and tablets… even on paper! However the Covid situation we currently find ourselves in has changed all that, it’s meant we’ve had to change our processes somewhat.
What we needed was some kind of online system to present the early stages of creative work and collaborate remotely using visual boards, much like the walls of a design studio, something we are all sorely missing now we’re mostly working from home.
In steps Milanote, we’ve not used this service before, but we were approached by the Milanote outreach team to see if we would be interested in the product. We receive a lot of these kinds of emails on a weekly basis, but this one stood out, it was different, it looked to be a real solution to a real problem so we decided to give it a try.
Initial impressions of the service were that it had a lot of potential, perhaps not just in these remote working times, but potentially it could make up a more permanent part of our design approach.
As a design studio we’ve decided to put the Milanote storyboarding service through it’s paces over the next month and we’ll come back to you with what we find and if we’ll be continuing permanently with the service.
If you’re a client you’ll likely also get to see how Milanote works and what difference this makes to our remote presentations.
