EMAIL ALIASES You can have more than one email name – an ‘alias’ (you@, sales@, info@ etc) all running off one main business email account. All emails on the same main account are shared however, so if you need private emails for different staff, then you will need more than one business email account.

WEBSITE MAINTENANCE All websites need maintaining, with updates and security patches just like the apps on your phone. We take care of these so you don’t need to worry.

CONTENT UPDATES All Isle Hive packages come with monthly time set aside for your content updates – this could be news, different products to showcase or updated images – however you’d like to use it.

ONGOING SUPPORT And of course we’re here for you. If you have a question, want to add anything to your website or talk to us about how to increase web traffic, convert customers or mailing lists – anything! – just send us a message and we’ll try to help!

Update requests are straight forward, you’ll receive access to our projects system which you then email with your update requirements. Whether this be text updates, price list changes, image updates etc. We’ll aim to have your changes made to your website either on your monthly update day or within 48 hours dependent on your package – simple!

The initial deposit will be taken by card or bank transfer, at the same time we’ll send you an online Direct Debit mandate form by email and the monthly payments will be collected by Direct Debit on the same day of the month as your initial deposit payment.

Later on down the line you may realise you want to add some specialist features, maybe take payments by credit card, perhaps sell some items online – no problem, we can provide you with a one off estimate to expand your current site to include those features. Some features can be added to your site while still in the Isle Hive, other, larger upgrades may require your site to be broken out of the Hive and into your own WordPress install, we can discuss the options with you based on your requirements.

The idea behind our Hive website packages is to allow you to get online with a professional website from the outset, then expand your site as your business grows, flexibility is built in and we can adapt and expand your website as and when your business needs.

This depends on which package you have. With the Isle Hive and Hive Pro packages the answer is no, we develop our Startup sites on the Isle Hive without a CMS. The idea behind our monthly maintained sites is that we handle all of the technical side of things, all you need to do is tell us what you would like. This also helps in keeping our pricing as low as possible as we don’t need to configure an end user CMS.

As your site grows you may find that you would like your own CMS so you can make changes to your site yourself. If this happens we can provide you with a price to upgrade to our Isle Hive WP package and straight into your own WordPress setup. With this package you can log in and make unlimited changes anytime, anywhere.

There is a 1-year minimum term, after which you can cancel at any time. Your website will then be taken offline, unless you wish to move it to a different host.

If you decide to move to a different web host after the 12-month minimum term, then we will need to do some work to move your website to a standalone WordPress installation, outside of the Isle Hive system. The cost for this would be £360. We can then give you access to the files and database so that you can migrate it to your own host.

If we have registered your domain on your behalf your domain will remain your property and will be transferred to a domain registrar of your choosing.

Your  Isle Hive website will be built to be On Page SEO friendly giving you the best start with Google. We’ll set up Google Analytics, Google Search Console Indexing and Microsoft Clarity so that you can access data about how people are using your website, which you can use to improve your conversion rates.

To further boost your search engine position, we offer one-off or ongoing SEO services to optimise your website and build your wider online presence (chargeable separately).

Our startup packages cover just about everything you’ll need to get online, the only thing you may need if you don’t already have one is a logo. If you don’t have the budget for full professional branding at this time we can create a simple text based logo for use on your site.
